PRDAnvil keeps a living product requirements document in your repo: contracts and black-box test cases that coding agents author, build, test and deploy against. Every change starts in the PRD, and nothing ships that the PRD did not ask for.

Requirements first

Change the PRD before the code: new IDs, a version bump, one approval. A linter and trace checks keep it consistent.

Tested blind

A test agent writes the tests from the PRD alone. It never reads your code, so the code cannot shape the tests that judge it.

Traced to production

Each requirement moves approved, built, verified, live. Every failure is recorded in an error ledger until a checked fix closes it.
